The New Orleans Police Department invites community members aged 21 and above to participate in our Citizens Police Academy, an immersive program that provides unique insights into modern law enforcement practices and the criminal justice system.
Participants engage in dynamic learning experiences that showcase the complexities of modern policing. Our curriculum covers essential aspects of law enforcement, including community policing strategies, patrol operations, and specialized division activities. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions, you'll gain firsthand experience with the latest technology and techniques used by NOPD to serve our community.
