If you've been a victim of crime, we're here to help. Louisiana law provides important rights and resources for victims and witnesses of felony crimes against persons.

To access these:

  • Report the crime within 72 hours (exceptions for special circumstances)
  • Provide your current contact information
  • For minor or homicide victims, a family member may be designated as contact
