Parkways and Parkways Tree Planting Grant

Managed by the Greater New Orleans Foundation

In December 2021, the New Orleans City Council created an ordinance to annually appropriate funding to assist nonprofit partners in Orleans Parish in planting trees on public property in the City of New Orleans.

• 2022 - 2023: Healthy Community Services, NOLA Tree Project, Sustaining our Urban Landscape (SOUL), Tree-mend-us Love, Water Wise Gulf South
• 2023 - 2024: Friends of Lafitte Greenway, Groundwork New Orleans, Handson New Orleans, Healthy Community Services, Longue Vue House and Gardens, Lower 9th Ward Homeownership Association, NOLA Tree Project, SOUL, The Gentilly Terrace and Gardens Improvement Association, Water Wise Gulf South, Youth Rebuilding Together
