Good news! Your child will be automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks if they were born between August 8, 2006-July 1, 2019 and received SNAP, FITAP, KCSP, or income-based Medicaid benefits between July 1, 2024-August 8, 2025.
Some students will need to apply for the benefits to receive them. If your child attends one of the following schools, they will need to apply:
SUN Bucks benefits will be loaded directly onto the EBT cards of eligible students in May 2025. For households not already enrolled in one of the programs mentioned above, benefits will arrive on a preloaded EBT card in a plain white envelope addressed to your child. NOTE: EBT cards will be sent to the mailing address that is on file, so applicants should be sure their address is up to date.
