The City of New Orleans is offering a limited-time opportunity to pay delinquent parking and photo safety citations without late penalties.
Qualifications:
Parking tickets more than 30 days past due (as of June 1, 2025)
Photo safety citations over 60 days past due (as of June 1, 2025) Note: NOPD-issued moving violations are not included.
Benefits:
Pay only the original citation—no late fees
Vehicle immobilization and booting are suspended during the program
Important Dates:
Program runs June 1–November 30, 2025
Late fees paid outside this period are nonrefundable
After November 30, full penalties and enforcement will resume
How to Pay:
Online: PromisePay (Credit/Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH)
In Person: City Hall (1300 Perdido St., Room 1W09) or City Auto Pound (400 N. Claiborne Ave.)
Accepted forms: Check, Money Order, VISA, or MasterCard accepted
