September 17, 2025 | From City of New Orleans
New Orleans drivers now have until September 30 to take care of old parking and traffic camera tickets without paying late fees. The City’s Ticket Amnesty Program, originally set to end this month, has been extended to give residents more time to get caught up.
The program covers parking tickets more than 30 days old and traffic camera tickets more than 60 days past due. Late fees are waived, and drivers can either pay in full or set up an interest-free payment plan for parking tickets.
Payments can be made quickly and securely online at nola.gov/nolatefees. After September 30, unpaid citations will move to the Louisiana Office of Debt Recovery, which can collect through tax refund offsets, wage garnishments, and other methods.
Check your tickets and take action by September 30 at nola.gov/nolatefees.
