As of May 13, 2025, The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, RNGD Construction, LLC, will temporarily close the 5000 and 5100 blocks Southbound Lane of Frenchmen Street to begin mill and overlay work in effort to finish roadway restoration in your area. This closure is expected to remain in effect for two weeks and will reopen approximately on May 27, 2025. Motorist traveling on Frenchmen St. will be detoured to Timoleon St. to Elysian Fields Ave. or Selma St. to Elysian Fields Ave.

Due to continued severe weather, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) has rescheduled the temporary closure of two blocks in the French Quarter to Tuesday, May 13, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. This work is part of the DPW773 Right of Way (ROW) Improvement Project and was originally scheduled for May 7 and May 9.

As of April 29, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works, in coordination with its contractor, RNGD Construction, LLC, will temporarily close the intersection of St. Anthony Avenue and Allen Toussaint Drive to begin mill and overlay work in an effort to complete roadway restoration in your area. This closure is expected to remain in effect for one week and is scheduled to reopen on or around May 6, 2025. Detoured traffic will be rerouted via Leon C. Simon Drive to Elysian Fields Avenue.
As of April 29, The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, RNGD Construction, LLC, will temporarily close the 6000 block of Pasteur Boulevard to begin mill and overlay work in effort to finish roadway restoration in your area. This closure is expected to remain in effect for one week and will reopen approximately on May 7, 2025. Detoured traffic will be rerouted up the Northbound Lane of Pasteur Blvd. to Allen Toussaint Blvd to Elysian Fields.

This closure is expected to remain in effect for one week and will reopen approximately on May 7. Detoured traffic will be rerouted to Burbank Drive to Elysian Fields Avenue.
As of April 29, The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, RNGD Construction, LLC, will temporarily close the 5100 block of Cameron Boulevard to begin mill and overlay work in effort to finish roadway restoration in your area. This closure is expected to remain in effect for one week and will reopen approximately on May 6, 2025. Detoured traffic will be rerouted up Selma Street to St. Anthony Avenue.
