Upcoming Central City S. Galvez Street project includes green infrastructure elements

The City’s construction contractor, Command Construction Industries, LLC is scheduled to break ground on the S. Galvez St. reconstruction project in Central City this spring. The project boundaries are S. Galvez St. between Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Toledano St.

Streetscape project adds another mile into the bikeway system, bringing Citywide total to nearly 115 miles

Roubion Roads and Streets, LLC has completed the City’s final streetscape project. The project scope was developed with feedback from community stakeholders over the last several years and began construction in summer 2016.

S. Johnson Street and Melodia Court full depth reconstruction moves into next phase

A full-depth reconstruction project began on South Johnson and Melodia Court in Nov. 2016. The $1.8 million project scheduled to be completed this summer.
