DPW proudly recognizes America Henry, Tow Truck Operator with the Parking & Towing Division, for his exceptional dedication and reliability. Since joining the team on June 23, 2024, Mr. Henry has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and a strong work ethic that keep the City of New Orleans moving.
His contributions extend well beyond his daily responsibilities. Whether responding to urgent calls, assisting during special events, or handling difficult assignments, he can always be counted on to show up and get the job done. His prompt response and willingness to take on tough tasks reflect his dedication to public service and his pride in representing DPW.
The Parking & Towing Division enforces on-street parking regulations, manages residential parking programs, and oversees towing operations citywide. These efforts support public safety, regulate curb use, and remove abandoned or illegally parked vehicles that impede traffic flow or emergency access.
