TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Southbound Woodland Hwy. Left Lane Closure Scheduled Wednesday for Streetlight Damage Assessment

New Orleans – The City of New Orleans advises motorists that the left lane of southbound Woodland Hwy. (LA407) between Woodland Ave. and LA 406 will be closed Wednesday, July 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  while crews inspect damage to streetlight infrastructure caused by theft and determine the appropriate path forward for repairs.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect minor delays, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling through the work zone. Traffic control devices will be in place to safely guide motorists through the area.
