Airline Highway - Monroe Street Safety Improvements

The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works is working with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) to improve pedestrian safety and expand accessibility for people traveling along and across Airline Highway (US 61). Pedestrian safety and accessibility improvements are planned for a portion of Airline Highway at Monroe Street. The new pedestrian safety improvements are funded 100% through the federal Safe Routes to Public Places Program (SRTPPP).
