DPW756 Traffic Signal Mast Arm Upgrade

The City of New Orleans is working to improve traffic signal arm mast across the city, utilizing ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding. Retroreflective backplates will be installed on traffic signal mast arms, this new upgrade will increase motorist safety and signal visability when traveling through city-owned intersections. 

In addition, traffic signal arm mast will be rewired. This is being done to protect the signal wiring from being snipped, pinched, or any other destructive element that may occur.
