Hotel Collapse Site Rehabilitation

The Department of Public Works contracted Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC to rehabilitate and improve the public right of way as part of the Hotel Collapse Site Rehabilitation Project. Construction began in June 2024 reached completion in early 2025. The project was a full reconstruction, which included: replacing/rehabilitating existing water, sewer and drainage lines, repaving the roadway, replacing sidewalks and installing American with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps at intersections.

Project Overview

Throughout the project, DPW focused on safety and minimizing disruptions, ensuring local access for residents, deliveries, and emergency services. Traffic control measures, including signage, barrels, and fencing, were in place to safely direct drivers and pedestrians through active work zones.

We thank the community for their patience and cooperation. These improvements will provide enhanced safety, mobility, and accessibility for residents and visitors in the area.
