The Department of Public Works (DPW) is pleased to announce the successful completion of surface and subsurface infrastructure repairs on Julia Street & Howard Street Extensions as part of the DPW716 Right of Way (ROW) Project. The work, performed by Hard Rock Construction, LLC, began in May 2024 and was completed in December 2024.
The project involved street resurfacing and sidewalk replacements, enhancing the roadway's condition and accessibility.
The DPW716 ROW Improvement Project also included work at the following locations:
Throughout the project, DPW focused on safety and minimizing disruptions, ensuring local access for residents, deliveries, and emergency services. Traffic control measures, including signage, barrels, and fencing, were in place to safely direct drivers and pedestrians through active work zones.
We thank the community for their patience and cooperation. These improvements will provide enhanced safety, mobility, and accessibility for residents and visitors in the area.
