Changes to the Absentee Mail In Ballot are currently in effect. The Louisiana Secretary of State has provided a video which gives details on how voters should complete their certificate and the proper procedure for mailing their ballot back to the Registrar of Voter. All Absentee Mail In Ballots must be received by the Registrar of Voters no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day prior the election. Voters who have questions may call the Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters office at (504) 658-8300.
