Why Accuracy Matters
Maintaining an up-to-date registration is the most effective way to ensure voters receive critical information regarding polling changes and new voting initiatives.
"Having the correct information is essential for keeping voters informed of changes and/or new initiatives relative to voting," said Lisa Manning Bridges, Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters. “Additionally, there may be times when we need to contact voters who utilize Absentee ballots; therefore, having an email address and the correct telephone number could save valuable time to cure defects,” Manning Bridges said.
Voters with questions or those who wish to verify their status are encouraged to call the Registrar’s office at (504) 658-8300.
