Frequently Asked Questions

 

  1. Providers are required to enter data on completed services five (5) days after the month in which the services occurred.
  2. Data is verified by the Data Manager and providers receive verification to submit an invoice.
  3. After the original signed invoice is received and reviewed, it is submitted to the Department of Accounting. 
  4. Checks are mailed directly to providers within two (2) weeks.

All qualified and interested agencies are invited to submit a proposal to become a provider through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The Office of Health Policy and AIDS Funding (OHP) and members of the Proposal Review Team follow the City's procurement policy. Providers who meet performance obligations from previous contracts receive contract amendments. Generally, a new RFP is prepared once every three (3) years. The RFP is published in the newspaper and disseminated to existing providers and published on the City's website.
