HIV Care Services in Greater New Orleans

The Ryan White Part A Program connects people living with HIV to quality healthcare and support services across Southeast Louisiana. Our network of healthcare facilities and community organizations serves residents in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. James, St. John, St. Charles, St. Tammany, and St. Bernard parishes.

If you earn up to $59,400 annually as an individual (500% of Federal Poverty Level), you may qualify for services. Income limits increase based on family size.

Primary Medical Care

Dental Services

Access complete dental care including routine cleanings, fillings, root canals, and dentures. We understand oral health is crucial to overall wellness and provide both preventive and restorative treatments.

Nutrition Support

Your case manager serves as your personal guide through care services. They help you apply for benefits like Medicaid and Medicare, coordinate your care, and ensure you're getting all the support you need.

Access nutritious food and personal care items through our food bank program. Available to those meeting income requirements, this program helps ensure you have essential items for healthy living.

Transportation Solutions

Never miss a medical appointment due to transportation issues. We provide bus passes, gas cards, and can arrange rides to ensure you get to your healthcare visits.

Housing Assistance

When housing becomes a challenge, we can help with short-term rental assistance for up to two months per year, helping you maintain stable housing during difficult times.

Health Insurance Assistance

We help cover insurance costs including premiums, copays, and deductibles up to $8,000 annually. This includes coverage for medications, primary care, and dental services.

Emergency Financial Help

When unexpected costs arise, we can help with utilities and basic phone service up to $500 yearly, plus additional support for critical needs up to $300 annually.

Medication Coverage

Access vital HIV medications and treatments with coverage up to $3,000 monthly. This includes antiretroviral medications and other prescriptions related to HIV care.
