NSTR Application Period Ends Tonight At 11:59PM.

The deadline for the July 1 Lottery application period is fast approaching. The Non-Commercial STR application will be removed from the One Stop App tonight at 11:59PM. Our office is open today until 5pm to review your documents for accuracy. We are located at 1340 Poydras St on the 8th floor.

If you are applying for an NSTR License please be reminded of the following:

  • You MUST apply for an Owner (NSTR) AND Operator License. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee associated with each application.
  • You WILL NOT pay the respective $150 Operator or $500 NSTR fee until the application has been approved AND you receive an APPROVAL EMAIL.
  • You MUST have an onsite operator if you, the owner do not reside at the property.
  • The Operator (owner or tenant) MUST upload a picture ID to their application with the address matching the property address. 
  • You MUST upload a LABELED floor plan, evacuation plan & site plan. Your site plan only needs to identify where guest parking is located.
  • If there are multiple property owners, EACH OWNER must sign & submit the attestation document found below & on our website. 
  • The name on your One Stop Account will be the same name that populates on your application.
  • Please do not use abbreviations or punctuation when typing in your address.

We will begin reviewing applications next week. We WILL NOT send any review comments. If you are not eligible to move forward in the application process, you will receive a denial email. Please double check your applications and documents submitted. If you send a message through the One Stop Account with your application we will see it when we review your application.

If your property has the only application on the square you may receive your approval email prior to July 1. We will send the lottery list out in advance of the July 1 lottery.
