Short Term Rentals in Orleans Parish are regulated through the Short Term Rental Administration, a part of the Department of Safety and Permits. The STR Office is located on the 8th floor of 1340 Poydras St., providing direct access to many of the City’s essential regulatory departments.

Short Term Rental Attestation
CSTR (Commercial Short Term Rental)
Short-Term Rental licenses are non-transferrable. CSTR applicants should apply for a Non-Structural Renovation permit on the One Stop App (https://onestopapp.nola.gov/) with the description: CSTR License so that zoning can review it and refer it to CPC. Once the conditional use is approved, applicants can submit the following:
- Picture ID
- Floorplan
- Evacuation plan
- Please submit the attached form to include the OWNER ATTESTATION, noise abatement, sanitation & security operation plans.
Please also note that effective July 1, 2023, a noise monitoring device is required for all Commercial Short Term Rentals.
