The Victim/Witness Assistance Unit is a specialized unit responsible for contacting and assisting victims and witnesses who have been a victim of any crime and offer various resources which may address their specific needs such as the Crime Victim Reparations Program. The unit also refers victims and witnesses to appropriate agencies for further assistance
