Under the direction of Superintendent Anne E. Kirkpatrick, the New Orleans Police Department has implemented this program to expand our reach throughout the New Orleans Community to provide more enhanced, comprehensive, and collaborative strategies in the communities we serve.
Volunteer Ambassador Programs are a strategy based on the concept that police officers and private citizens work together to support the community. Many forms of Volunteer Ambassador programs have been in the U.S for quite some time.
