Boil Water Advisory for NOLA East Bank

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for the East bank of Orleans Parish. Bacteriological tests confirmed that water in the area is safe to drink and can be used for personal needs.

NOPD Asks Your Help In Locating A Missing 15-Year-Old Female

NOPD asks you help in locating 15-year-old Kayla Freemon, reported missing since Tuesday September 10, 2013 at approximately 5:00 P.M. 

Kayla Freemon’s mother advised that on Tuesday she was with her daughter in the 2400 block of General Ogden Street when she let her daughter out of the vehicle.  Since then she has not seen or heard from her since and advised this is uncharacteristic of her daughter.  

Kayla Freemon is described as a 15-year-old black female, 5’3” tall and about 100 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater and red gym shorts. 


Anyone with information that can help locate Kayla Freemon is asked to call the New Orleans Police Department at 821-2222.
