City of New Orleans Chief Resilience Officer Jeff Hebert presented a working definition of "City Resilience" and introduced the City's partnership with 100 Resilient Cities and the forthcoming Resilience Strategy on Saturday, April 18 at the Quarterly Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable meeting.

As we continue to develop a comprehensive plan for implementation, we are asking you to share with us examples of resilience in your neighborhoods and communities – be it an individual, a group of people, a program, or a place. As a key part of telling the story of resilience throughout New Orleans, we will take your information and create a “Map of Resilience,” which will be unveiled as we share the strategy with a wider audience.
