Taxicab & For Hire Bureau
The Taxicab and For Hire Vehicles Bureau is a division of the Department of Safety and Permits which regulates the licensing and inspection of all taxicabs and for hire vehicles within the City of New Orleans.

The Taxicab Bureau oversees a number of permits and licenses, all of which can be found on the City of New Orleans Permit and Licenses page for Hire Industry, Tour Guides and Planners. These permits include:
- Certificate of Public Necessity and Convenience (CPNC) Initial Issuance
