Amnesty Program

The City of New Orleans announced that it will launch a limited time ticket amnesty program on June 1, giving motorists with eligible parking and traffic camera tickets the opportunity to resolve past due balances without incurring late fees.

The program, which runs through August 31, is open to anyone with:

  • A parking ticket more than 30 days old, or
  •  A traffic camera ticket more than 60 days old (as of June 1)

Participants can pay in full or enroll in a flexible, interest free payment plan. Central Adjudication Bureau Overview

The Central Adjudication Bureau (CAB) was established to consolidate adjudication processes into one department.  

The mission of the department is to provide quality administrative hearings for the City of New Orleans in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner, with respect for the dignity of individuals and their due process rights. 

Hearings are held 5 days a week in 6 separate rooms for the following departments:  

  • Safety and Permits 
  • Historic District Landmarks Commission 
  • Vieux Carre Commission 
  • Department of Health 
  • Department of Sanitation 
  • Department of Code Enforcement 
  • Parking
  • Photo Safety
