The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor Beverly Construction Inc. will temporarily close riverbound travel lanes in the 5200 block of Paris Avenue between Monday, Oct.17 at 7 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. During this time, riverbound traffic will shift to one of the lakebound travel lanes on Paris Avenue. This will allow for a single lane of vehicular traffic in each direction. The closure is necessary to accommodate drainage work as part of the Gardena Drive (St. Bernard Avenue – Paris Avenue) construction project.

Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor, Command Construction Industries, LLC, will temporarily close the 5500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue to northbound vehicular traffic.

Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor, Command Construction Industries, LLC, will implement a temporary full closure of southbound travel lanes in the 6300 block of Elysian Fields Avenue between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The City of New Orleans today announced Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor, Wallace C. Drennan, Inc., has postponed the temporarily closure of South Carrollton Avenue between Fig Street and Earhart Boulevard until further notice.
Beginning on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at 7 a.m., the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor Hard Rock Construction, LLC, will temporarily close the roadway of the 7000 to 7100 blocks of Magazine Street to vehicular traffic to accommodate construction on the Magazine Street (Leake Avenue to East Drive) project. The closure will remain in effect until Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, weather permitting. Public safety is our top priority; signage and traffic control measures will be onsite to direct drivers and pedestrians.

The City of New Orleans today announced Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor, Wallace C. Drennan, Inc., will temporarily close South Carrollton Avenue between Fig Street and Earhart Boulevard to vehicular traffic beginning Monday, Oct. 3 at 7 a.m. and lasting through 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022.
September 22, 2022 | From City of New Orleans
Beginning on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022, at 7 a.m. the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, Infinity Construction and Trucking, LLC, will temporarily close the westbound travel lane of St. Charles Avenue between Burdette Street and Fern Street for approximately four weeks to accommodate waterline installation work.
Beginning on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 a.m., the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor Command Construction Industries, LLC, will temporarily close the northbound (right-hand) lane of the 5500 block of Elysian Fields Avenue to vehicular traffic to accommodate construction on the Milneburg Group A project.
September 16, 2022 | From City of New Orleans
Beginning Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, Hard Rock Construction, LLC, will temporarily close a travel lane in the 800 block of Navarre Avenue to vehicular traffic to accommodate roadwork operations. The street closure will occur between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. each day and will reopen to vehicular traffic each night. Changes to traffic patterns and parking will remain in effect until Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at 5:30 p.m
On Monday, Sept. 19 at 7 a.m., weather permitting, the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works contractor, Impetus Construction, LLC will begin subsurface utility work that will temporarily close the 3300-3400 blocks of West Saint Roch Avenue and the 2400 block of Pleasure Street. The blocks will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to accommodate construction on the Gentilly Terrace Group C project.
