The City of New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (NOHSEP) is urging residents to prepare for extremely cold weather, expected to begin overnight Sunday, Jan. 19, and continue through Wednesday, Jan. 22. Hard freeze conditions are possible, along with Cold Weather Advisories or Extreme Cold Warnings.

Apply online to register to vote or make changes to your registration.
Apply in person to register to vote at any Registrar of Voters’ Office.
Orleans Parish locations include: Main Office in City Hall at 1300 Perdido St. Room 1W24 and the branch office in the Algiers Courthouse at 225 Morgan St., Room 105. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
When registering to vote at the Registrar of Voters’ Office, applicants are required to provide the following:
Applicants without the above documents may present their social security card, utility bill, payroll check, and/or other government documents that include the applicants' name, address, and signature.
Download the Louisiana Voter Registration Application to apply by mail. Complete and mail to Orleans Registrar of Voters Office, 1300 Perdido St., Room 1W24, New Orleans, LA 70112.
