Special Event Medical Coverage

Service Pricing

• All fees are governed by City of New Orleans ordinances. All ambulances services licensed to operate in Orleans Parish must also comply with the City EMS Ordinance regarding special event coverage pricing.
• Individual patients will be billed for any treatment and/or transport rendered by EMS at a special event.
• Request for coverage must be made at least 14 days prior to your event.
• A four hour minimum is rerquired for all bookings.
• There is an additional hour billed per unit each day for travel.
• 3 of more units require an EMS Supervisor ($100/Hour).

Service Options

EMS offers a range of services, perfect for all kinds and scales of events. All services include Advance Life Support (ALS) equipment staffed with at least one paramedic.

  First Aid Station

  Price

  • Level 1: 2 Medics---$150/Hour
  • Level 2: 4 Medics---$300/Hour
• 

  Light Duty Rescue Truck

  Price

  • Includes 1 Technician $150/Hour
• 

  EMS Bike Team

  NOEMS bike teams carry the same equipment found in an ambulance just a condensed size and smaller quantity. Bike teams are useful in maneuvering through large crowds

  Price

  • $150.00/hour per bike team with a four hour minimum.
• 

  Sprint Car

  A sprint car is staffed by one paramedic and is stocked with the same Advanced Cardiac Life Support medications and equipment as an ambulance. This vehicle does not have transport capability.

  • 100.00/hour with a four (4) hour minimum.
• 

  Miniature All-Terrain Ambulance

  The all-terrain ambulance is used to extract injured or sick patrons from areas inaccessible to standard ambulances. 

  The all-terrain ambulance is stocked with all of the same equipment as traditional ambulances and is prepared to take care of all medical and traumatic emergencies.
