WEDNESDAY: JOIN MAYOR CANTRELL FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING TOUR EVENT IN NEW ORLEANS EAST
NEW ORLEANS — Mayor LaToya Cantrell will host an Affordable Housing Tour event for the general public on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church (Morton Hall, 5600 Read Blvd.). (Click here for directions.)
The event will start at 6 p.m.
Mayor Cantrell will guide a discussion that also will feature presentations from Ellen Lee, Director of the Office of Community and Economic Development; Marjorianna Willman, Director of Housing Policy & Community Development; and Nicole Heyman, Deputy Director of Community Assets/Investment.
A question-and-answer session with residents will follow the presentations. There will also be resource tables provided by NOLA Ready, RoadWork NOLA, New Orleans Redevelopment Authority, New Orleans Rapid Transit Authority, Orleans Parish Communication District (911/311), Neville Development, St. Bernard Project, Preservation Resource Center, Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center.
