Neighborhood Cares Initiative: Eastshore Community Day
The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) will host its second Neighborhood Cares Day of the year on Saturday, May 24, in the Eastshore neighborhood. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Eastshore Playground, located at 14600 Curran Blvd.
Community members are invited to enjoy free food, snowballs, music, blood pressure screenings, free vaccinations (while supplies last), and free groceries while engaging with city departments and local organizations at the resource fair. Volunteers will also participate in litter and debris removal, as well as park improvement projects in the area.
