Anyone that wants to make a donation to the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) may do so through the Friends of NOFD, which was founded in 1994. It is a non-profit corporation created for charitable, educational and social welfare purposes to assist the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD).
Friends of the NOFD serves as a liaison between public and private sectors of the City.
