The Department of Safety and Permits is releasing its draft Rules and Regulations related to Short Term Rental Permit Lotteries (DSP Rule 23-01). These Rules and Regulations are binding upon the public once adopted by the City Council, pursuant to City Code 2-1000. These rules are a draft, and opportunity will be provided for public feedback. Once feedback is received, the Department will forward the draft rules for promulgation and adoption to the City Council along with a report regarding the feedback provided. A copy of these rules is linked here.
May 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.: Virtual Hearing to be held online. Comments will be limited to two minutes per person, with no ceding of time. Register for this session.
May 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.: In-person Hearing to be held in City Council Chambers. Comments will be limited to two minutes per person, with no ceding of time.
