The Office of Workforce Development identifies and aligns the supply of workers in our city with the needs of growing businesses. Through a combination of monitoring the needs of a knowledge-based economy, to providing career counseling and training, the Office of Workforce Development leverages the capabilities of our citizens to fill necessary positions while working with local businesses to customize training, screen applicants and help forecast future demand. These services are available through three programs within the Office of Workforce Development.
