Pathways Youth Internship Program

In partnership with the Gracefully Mindful Wellness Institute, Pathways is a year-round workforce readiness and personal development program for 14-17 year old system-involved youth that seeks to mitigate youth poverty, unemployment, and recidivism by providing them with paid work internships, workshops focused on conflict resolution, mindfulness, and soft skills development. Pathways also incorporates case management and mentoring to encourage a successful transition to school and work. Participants receive a stipend and transportation support.

Pathways Youth Internship Program: Unlocking Opportunities for Justice-Involved Youth

The Pathways Youth Internship Program is a transformative initiative that connects justice-involved young people with local employers, providing them with supportive employment placements and the opportunity to embark on new career trajectories. By partnering with businesses and organizations throughout the community, Pathways aims to help these youth develop valuable skills, gain real-world experience, and build positive relationships that can lead to long-term success.

Through this innovative program, qualifying youth receive not only job placement but also ongoing guidance, mentorship, and resources to help them navigate the challenges of entering the workforce. Pathways recognizes the unique potential of each participant and works to create an environment where they can thrive, grow, and discover new possibilities for their future.

By collaborating with local employers who are committed to making a difference, Pathways is building a bridge between justice-involved youth and the opportunities they need to turn their lives around. This program is more than just a job placement service; it's a chance for young people to break free from the cycle of recidivism, develop a strong work ethic, and lay the foundation for a brighter, more prosperous future.
