The City of New Orleans is seeking a partner organization to serve as the Administrator of its $4,500,000 Home for Good Initiative. 

The New Orleans Home for Good Initiative, aims to reach low or no unsheltered homelessness by the end of 2025. The Home for Good Rapid Rehousing Initiative includes rental subsidies, security deposits, and stabilization case management services. The City of New Orleans seeks to partner with an organization to act as the Administrator for rental subsidies security deposits, and case management dollars that support those experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Orleans Parish and being rehoused through the Home for Good Initiative.

The deadline to apply for the available funding is January 17, 2025. A virtual information session will be held for interested applicants on Monday, January 6, 2025

City of New Orleans Reaffirms Commitment to Home for Good Initiative, Housing Individuals Experiencing Unsheltered Homelessness

The City of New Orleans Office of Homelessness Services and Strategy remains steadfast in its dedication to the Home for Good New Orleans initiative, a collaborative effort to rehouse individuals experiencing homelessness. To date, the initiative has successfully connected 822 people with supportive housing, achieving more than half of its goal to house 1,500 individuals by the end of 2025.

City of New Orleans Announces Recipients of $1.14 Million in ARPA Funding for Homeless Shelter Support

The City of New Orleans today announced the organizations selected through a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) released by the Office of Homeless Services and Strategies (OHSS) for projects that provide assistance to individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Orleans Parish. A total of $1.14 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding is being dispersed to seven different recipients.
