The first Roundtable of the year was held on March 29th, 2014 at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center and featured presentations by Code Enforcement and the NOLA for LIFE team.
Community Approaches to Blighted Properties
The second Roundtable, held at Lakeview Christian Center on June 21st, 2014, featured information on hurricane preparedness from Colonel Jerry Sneed, the Capital Improvement Plan from Robert Rivers, and City budgeting by Deputy Mayor Andy Kopplin.
Breakdown of the City Budget
The third Roundtable was hosted by the Holy Angels Convent on September 13th, 2014. Presenters included Amanda Moore who spoke about coastal restoration and Deputy Mayor Cedric Grant and Colonel Mark Jernigan who gave a presentation on the coordination of street repairs.
