City Awarded $80K by Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality to Install Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans announces it has been awarded an $80,000 grant by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ), a portion of the state’s Volkswagen (VW) Settlement funding, to install five City-owned electric vehicle charging stations available for public use.

NOPD Arrests Suspect for Illegal Possession of Stolen Gun and Drugs

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD arrested Dominick Blackman (pictured, DOB: 03/05/1984) in the Seventh District after he was found to be in illegal possession of a stolen gun and drugs during a traffic stop.
