CITY OF NEW ORLEANS ANNOUNCES LOCATION CHANGE FOR SECOND HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN PUBLIC MEETING

The City of New Orleans has announced a location change for the second public meeting regarding the update of its Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HMAP). The meeting will now take place on Wednesday, June 25, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Rosa Keller Library, located at 4300 S. Broad Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70125.

2025-06-23 Traffic Advisory: Temporary Closure Of Lakebound Canal Street Between S. Claiborne Ave. And N. Galvez St.

The City of New Orleans Department of Public Works (DPW) announces that beginning the week of Monday, June 23 at 7 a.m., Canal Street will have intermittent lane closures between S. Claibourne Avenue and N. Galvez Street. The temporary lane closures will allow DPW contractor Hardrock Construction, LLC. to complete street repairs as part of the DPW771: Right of Way Improvement Project. Local access will be maintained.
