On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 4:02 p.m., the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) responded to a reported structure fire at 1018 and 1020 Kerlerec Street. The first units arrived at 4:08 p.m. to find heavy fire extending to the attic of this one-story wood framed double.
