The following is a list of property that is currently queued for future destruction in at least 30 days in accordance with laws and policies. We would prefer for the rightful owner to retrieve their property. We have sent letters (if the owner/address was known) and are posting this public notice in an effort to reach owners so they may retrieve their property. If you notice an NOPD Item Number associated with your item, please bring in proof of ownership and identification during regular business days (weekdays) 8:00 am-2:00 pm.
Please note that some items may need a court order to release. Additionally, owners of Firearms must go through a background check before retrieval.
For any questions or verifications please contact Public-release personnel at (504) 658-5504 or 5500.
