Community Advisory Board and Action Network

We would like to invite thoughtful community leaders and members of Orleans Parish to join the Community Advisory Board and Action Network for Family Connects New Orleans and Healthy Start. Together, we will become one village with the desire to strenghten families and ensure every family has the support they need. Join us today to shape the future of our community.

Purpose and Responsibilities:

• Identify community issues and concerns of Orleans Family.
• Support the implementation of Family Connects- New Orleans.
• Give feedback on proposed methods, plans, strategies.
• Get the community excited and interested!!!

• Contribute your expertise and thinking to the current and future needs of Orleans Parish families.

Eligibility and attributes:

CAB members must live or work in Orleans Parish. CAB members may include representatives of community groups, service providers working with families, community members and caregivers, medical providers and agencies working with children and families.

Commitment: The CAB meets on a quarterly basis during a weekday from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Virtual and In-Person options are available.

This is an unpaid, voluntary position.
