For 30 years, NO/AIDS Task Force has been providing hope, care and compassion to thousands of men, women and families affected by HIV & AIDS. Priority Health Care is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 2009 whose mission is to provide holistic health care to underserved communities that will empower people to live healthy lives. Project Lazarus, founded in 1985 as a response to the AIDS crisis, began as a hospice. Over time, it transformed into a transitional living facility for HIV positive residents who needed a long-term care plan to address mental illness, substance abuse, and obtain mainstream resources, in addition to HIV/AIDS management. Its mission is to help heal and empower people living with HIV/AIDS by focusing on wellness, providing housing, and offering important support services.

St. Thomas Community Health Center began services in 1987 as a safety net provider. Its mission is to provide a scope of comprehensive preventive and primary medical care services in New Orleans particularly for low income medically underserved and vulnerable populations. St. Thomas Community Health Center (CHC) is the successor corporation to the St. Thomas Health Services Clinic. The original clinic was in the St. Thomas Housing Development, then the largest public housing complex in the United States. St. Thomas Community Health Center became designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in 2007 and began providing HIV services in 2016.
